MOBILE STAIRLIFT

Portable Stair Climbing Chair

When we were tasked with the renaming and rebranding this portable stair climbing device, which was formerly known as the YTR Chair, we strove to find the perfect balance of descriptive, catchy, and concise, but also wanted to give the product an immediate SEO edge. We landed on "Mobile Stairlift" because not only are these two words are some of the most-searched by the product's target audience, they summarize the exact problem the device solves. We iterated icons and colors until we arrived at the clean, stylized stairlift silhouette. Utilitarian sans-serif fonts and solid blocks of color were selected to keep the entire brand cohesive across the instruction manual, website, instructional videos, and marketing collateral.

We partnered with Mind & Metrics to deploy an Integrated Marketing Campaign that brought 310% of increased revenue in the first 12 months.

Safety on Stairs

It was our goal to create a clean, informative, and on-brand website for a growing list of Mobile Stairlift products. We used the bright yellow and black, from the logo, and incorporated similar stylized swoops and buttons to create a cohesive look throughout the site.

We thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of creating instructional materials for the Mobile stairlift, and the Mobile Stairlift Dolly. Clarity, FDA Compliance, and user-friendliness were central goals, both in layout design and copywriting. After learning how to use the Stairlift and Stairlif Dolly ourselves, we painstakingly developed a concise and intuitive summary of each step in the process, and then created detailed vector diagrams to accompany the steps. We also incorporated corresponding FDA-required warnings and additional tips and tricks to ensure the safest and most effective use of the Mobile Stairlift products.

Communicating Through Video

The video content we produced for Mobile Stairlift ranged from instructional to lifestyle pieces. For the instructional pieces of content, we had to thoroughly understand the ins and outs of safely using the product in order to accurately convey exactly how to do so to viewers. After extensive practice with the Stairlift, we had a clear roadmap of the shots and angles we needed to train new users and educate prospective customers.

For the main lifestyle storyline, we worked hard to demonstrate how the product improves quality of life, and fosters inclusion of those with disabilities. We cast a "mother" and "granddaughter" who had fantastic chemistry, and scouted and locked down locations in Brooklyn that had beautiful staircases to showcase the product's advantages. We shot in 4 locations over two days, and produced 4 videos.
